I’ve been working on building up an exhibition in the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art called LIVING - Frontiers of Architecture III and IV. A great place to work, and it turns out not only to be a beautiful museum on a dreamlike location in Denmark, but a also a fantastic exhibition for anyone interested in architecture and the way we think about our buildings.

Bart Goldhoorn (the guy who hired me) has some pretty amazing idea’s about developing cities. A form of open source architecture; I think this might be the start of a new era in building buildings, would you agree?
Half year round we live on solar energy in Amsterdam, two batteries and 120 Watt daylight panels does the trick for us.
For me it was the first time I came in contact with solar power and it took a few months to come up with my first brainwave, why not use those cheap magnifying plastic sheets (reading help for elderly) to increase solar power? And off course someone thought of it already, still, it could be a nice DIY project…
The idea itself led me to some nice websites, searching for “magnifying plastic sheets solar power” led me to great innovative companies and blogs on renewable energy.
